Terms of Use

Last updated: July 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Grbit iOS application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. "We" and "us" refer to the developer of Grbit.

1. What Grbit is

Grbit is a client-side network utility. It lets you connect your device to proxy servers that you provide, and gives you tools to route, observe, and debug your own device's network traffic.

Grbit is not a communications service. We do not operate, sell, rent, or provide any proxy server, VPN service, or network infrastructure, and the app includes none. Any server you connect to is supplied by you or by a third party of your choosing.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, and you may not reverse engineer it except to the extent applicable law permits.

3. Lawful use

You are solely responsible for how you use the app. You agree to use it in compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to you, and with the terms of any network, server, or service you access through it. You must not use the app to interfere with networks, devices, or traffic that you do not own or lack permission to test.

Diagnostic features such as packet capture, HTTP rewrite, and HTTPS inspection operate on your own device's traffic and are intended for debugging and development. Do not use them against systems you are not authorized to inspect.

4. Third-party servers and subscriptions

Servers, subscriptions, and configuration you import come from you or from providers you choose. We are not a party to your relationship with any provider, we do not endorse any provider, and we are not responsible for the availability, quality, security, or legality of third-party services.

5. Privacy

The app collects no personal data. How data is handled on your device is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will work with any particular server or provider.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, loss of connectivity, or actions taken by third-party providers or network operators. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms over time. If we change the terms, we will update this page and revise the date above; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may discontinue the app or any feature at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
